Involved in all facets of the business, she combines strategic thinking with getting shit done, removing operational roadblocks that stand in the way of bunq’s mission to fundamentally change how millions of people spend, save and invest their money.

As COS at bunq, Bianca is the mastermind behind a country-wide interest rate race, in which she pushed for better savings interest for bunq users, making bunq the only bank in the Netherlands that adjusts its interest in line with ECB’s monetary policy and helping bunq quadruple its balance sheet in under a year.

As a self-made entrepreneur, Bianca founded Black & White Communications (2018), a PR agency working with fast-growing European companies and their inspiring founders, and Pioneer Academy (2021), an educational, subscription-based platform that enables early-stage startup founders to build their own in-house PR-machine, to then successfully exit the business and rejoin bunq as the company’s first Chief of Staff in 2022.
