Carolyn Tapang is the Global IT Director for Infrastructure and Shared Platforms at JDE Peet’s, the world’s leading pure-play coffee and tea company. She relocated from Australia back in 2021, where she played the role of Regional IT Manager for Asia-Pacific. Carolyn has over 20 years of experience in driving IT transformational project and building efficient IT operations, having worked for a global engineering services company in Australia and with Nestle in Australia, Switzerland, and the Philippines, where she is originally from.

Carolyn is well-known for her collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact projects while fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment. She is passionate about mentoring young professionals and advocating for diversity in the tech industry. In 2021, she co-founded the Women in Tech group within JDE Peet’s and is the Global Business Lead for DE&I, focusing on fostering an inclusive environment at all levels.
