Esmeralda Tijhoff is a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in open-source technologies and public-sector digital services. She is currently serving as a Product Manager and Open Source Officer at DICTU, a key IT service provider within the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of open collaboration, she drives innovation by integrating open-source principles into public-sector technology, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and long-term sustainability.

An active contributor to the international Drupal open-source community, Esmeralda was honored with the Women in Drupal Award (2024) for her role in fostering inclusion and knowledge sharing. She is particularly interested in how open collaboration can create new opportunities for underrepresented groups in tech.
