As Chief Financial Officer, Uvashni Raman leads Booking.com’s finance functions globally, overseeing the financial health and strategy for one of the world’s leading digital travel e-commerce platforms.

Prior to joining Booking.com in 2023, Uvashni gained extensive experience in leading large, complex businesses to long-term growth with expertise spanning finance, procurement,  operations, strategy, M&A, sustainability, capital markets, corporate affairs and business transformation.

Most recently, she held the role of Group CFO at Adevinta ASA, joining when the business listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in April 2019 and going on to lead its acquisition of the eBay Classifieds Group in 2021. Previously, she was CFO for Naspers Video Entertainment Division, South32 Australian Region and held multiple CFO, commercial, operational and strategic finance roles within BHP.

Uvashni is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honors in Accounting from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
