Speaker Bio
As Engineering Domain Manager, IKEA Retail, Anca Iordanescu leads the engineering behind the current and future IKEA stores. She brings agility, simplicity and the latest technologies to enable the home furnishings retailer to reach more of the many people with products and services whenever and wherever they interact with IKEA.
She is an award-winning engineering leader with decades of tech experience building and scaling global diverse teams across both the consumer and enterprise space. Prior to IKEA, Anca held transformative positions at Maersk Line, Ericsson and Sony Mobile – finding her passion in developing and implementing innovative technologies that change people’s lives for good. She has a PhD in Computer Science from University of Bucharest.
Anca is very active in programmes around mentorship, diversity, and uplifting women and young girls, helping to develop the next generation of technologists and leaders. She has been recognised as top 100 Women in Tech and won Digital Transformation Leader award 2022. She is actively engaged in creating a “Women in Tech” community in Sweden.
