Speaker Bio
Ayesha Iqbal is an IEEE Senior Member and Engineering Trainer at Manufacturing Technology Centre, UK.
Ayesha Iqbal holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from University of Glasgow, UK. She is currently working as an Engineering Trainer at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre of MTC – Manufacturing Technology Centre in Coventry, UK. Previously, she has served as a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at University of Management & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, as well as a Course Manager & Lecturer in Engineering at Bedford College, UK. She has produced eight publications including three conference papers, four journal papers and a book chapter.
She is also a member of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and a Senior Member of IEEE. Having a broad experience in academia and research, she has served as a Reviewer for several International Journals and Conferences for evaluating research papers, as well as a Judge at several Engineering Project Competitions. She is a proud ambassador of Women in Science and Engineering and have been featured as “Inspirational Woman in Tech” by WeAreTechWomen.
Fun Fact: Ayesha has been an orator and writer since the age of five. She loves travelling, baking, and photography.
