Speaker Bio

Emma is a highly skilled software architect and business leader who is passionate about leveraging innovative technology to create business value and enhance people’s lives.

She joined ASML in 2010 as a design engineer and has since then progressed to the role of product architect. After ten years, she left to become the Chief Technology Officer at a Chinese software company in the education sector, leading a team of over 400 people across five departments and overseeing the product development for four business lines. Then in 2022, Emma returned to ASML as the lead for the product architecture group, focusing on product development strategy and technology lifecycle management.

Emma holds an Engineering Doctorate degree in Software Technology from the University of Technology in Eindhoven, a Master of Business Administration from TIAS (Netherlands) and a Master of Engineering degree in Embedded System from Zhejiang University in China.
