Join us for an insightful session at our conference where we address the significant gap Black women face in the IT sector compared to men and other groups of women. We emphasize the importance of focusing on cultural diversity alongside gender diversity to tackle this social and economic challenge effectively. Led by Stichting Zwarte Vrouwen voor Technologie (Black Women for Technology Foundation), an organization spearheaded by three IT professionals, we aim to foster a more diverse and inclusive tech sector by providing retraining and guidance to Black women entering IT roles. While organizations seek greater diversity within their IT teams, we’ve observed disparities in expectations between them and our approach. In this session, we invite you to engage with our perspectives on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Session Key Takeaways:
  • Our holistic approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Strategies for business leaders, HR, and DEI professionals to enhance diversity from alternative perspectives.
