With more than 20 years of International Banking and Consulting experience, Tao Baker brings a wealth of Innovation, Digital and Transformational experience to Permanent TSB.
Tao has delivered the Banks first digital wide Innovation Competition. She also delivered the Banks first cloud based project helping SME’s and the first machine learning data categorisation capability to make better lending decisions. She won an Innovation award for the best Cloud implementation.
Recently, Tao has also been spearheading the Bank into adopting Open Banking & leveraging Cloud technology to solve key challenges. She sits on an industry wide working group on Open Banking whereby she contributed to a key paper submitted to the Central Bank. She represents industry bodies including Banks at the Innovation Forum chaired by the Central Bank where she promotes Innovation & Open Banking.
Tao continues to make a massive impact by supporting the Shona Project Charity to encourage young girls into STEM and expose them to a career in Technology. As a business coach, she supports grads and women in Banking to achieve their goals.
