Find the cutting edge, and you’ll find Manuela Locarno Ajayi. With extensive experience at companies like Microsoft and Amazon, she’s now sharing and passing her knowledge on to TomTom’ers as Senior Vice President of Product Engineering and an Extended Management Board Member. As the leader of 1,000 people across TomTom’s core product engineering teams, she continues to deliver high-quality technology solutions, helping TomTom’s customers as they use TomTom Orbis, the smartest, most useful map on the planet.

Fun Fact: Growing up in the north of Italy, Manuela dreamed of becoming a professional dancer, dedicating countless hours to practicing ballet, modern and jazz dance. She was close to fulfilling that dream. And then, in a twist of fate, she was drawn into software engineering, taking Manuela down a different path that led her to the important position she’s in today.
