We emphasize the importance of focusing on cultural diversity alongside gender diversity to tackle this social and economic challenge effectively. Led by Stichting Zwarte Vrouwen voor Technologie (Black Women for Technology Foundation), an organization spearheaded by three IT professionals, we aim to foster a more diverse and inclusive tech sector by providing retraining and guidance to Black women entering IT roles. While organizations seek greater diversity within their IT teams, we’ve observed disparities in expectations between them and our approach.
